Tickets to Oasis’ UK reunion tour listed on secondary market to be canceled
Tickets to Oasis‘ U.K. reunion tour that have been listed on the secondary market will be canceled, promoter Live Nation says in a statement.
The tickets that will be voided are “believed to have broken the terms and conditions put in place for the tour,” which stipulated that tickets only be sold through Ticketmaster or its resale partner, Twickets.
“The examination of ticket sales is ongoing and the results will be passed to relevant law enforcement once complete where appropriate,” the statement reads. “Cancelled tickets will be made available again at face value in due course from the official agency Ticketmaster. More details on this will be shared soon.”
It continues, “All parties involved with the tour continue to urge fans not to purchase tickets from unauthorized websites as some of these may be fraudulent and others subject to cancellation.”
Live Nation adds that about 4% of tickets from the sale wound up on resale sites.
“If fans do want to sell Oasis tickets they can do so at face value through Ticketmaster or the band’s official resale partner Twickets,” the statement concluded. “For fans who believe they have had tickets cancelled in error, refer to the email sent by the relevant agent when informed.”
The U.K. shows, which launch in July 2025, will mark Oasis’ first live performances since they broke up in 2009. The formerly feuding Gallagher brothers will then take the tour to the U.S. in August.
