On Friday, February 21, 2025, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., ROX Radio Group is thrilled to team up with Arkansas Children’s Northwest for the 10th Annual Miracles and Magic Mediathon, a transformative event supporting Arkansas Children’s Northwest (ACNW). This year, our goal is to raise $205,000 to fuel the hospital’s groundbreaking expansion project, ensuring that children throughout northwest Arkansas and beyond receive the highest quality pediatric care.
A Decade of Impact and Inspiration
For a remarkable 10 years, the Miracles and Magic Mediathon has been a pivotal event for the Arkansas Children’s Northwest Auxiliary, uniting our community to advocate for the health and future of our children. Broadcast across ROX Radio Group stations—96.7 The Bull, 101.5 The Vibe, and 104.9 The X—this annual radiothon is more than a fundraiser; it’s a testament to hope, resilience, and the strength of collective action.
Every dollar contributed during the Mediathon will go directly toward the $83 million expansion project at Arkansas Children’s Northwest, part of a monumental $318 million system-wide initiative. This expansion represents a significant leap forward, enhancing access to pediatric care, improving patient outcomes, and delivering an unparalleled experience for families in our region.
The Importance of Your Contribution

Since opening in 2018 as northwest Arkansas’s first and only pediatric hospital, Arkansas Children’s Northwest has been a lifeline for families. It serves as a Level IV pediatric trauma center, operates a 24-bed inpatient unit, and offers specialized care through five operating rooms, more than 20 subspecialty clinics, and the region’s only pediatric emergency department with 30 exam rooms.
The expansion project is a visionary endeavor, adding 72,000 square feet to the hospital, including new surgical suites, operating rooms, procedure rooms, hospital beds, and clinic spaces. This growth will ensure that Arkansas Children’s Northwest can continue to serve our expanding community, providing exceptional care to children now and for years to come.
From its origins as an orphanage in 1912 to its current standing as a nationally recognized pediatric health care system, Arkansas Children’s has remained dedicated to its mission: to make children better today and healthier tomorrow.
