Mumford & Sons have premiered a new song called “Rushmere,” the title track off the band’s upcoming album.
Rushmere marks the first record from the “Little Lion Man” outfit since 2018’s Delta. In a Facebook post, Mumford & Sons share that they’ve been going through “the most prolific two years we’ve ever had as a band.”
“We have a lot of songs to share with you,” they say. “It all begins where we started, really, with ‘Rushmere.’ “We’re restless to get going, relieved and excited to share this first one with you.”
You can listen to the song “Rushmere” now via digital outlets. Its accompanying video, which features footage of Mumford & Sons fans hearing the track for the first time during a secret listening session, is streaming on YouTube.
Since Delta was released seven years ago, banjo player/guitarist Winston Marshall left Mumford & Sons in 2021, while frontman Marcus Mumford released his debut solo album, (self-titled), in 2022. Mumford & Sons also put out a collaborative song with Pharrell Williams, “Good People,” in 2024.
Rushmere is due out March 28. Here’s the track list:

“Caroline”
“Rushmere”
“Monochrome”
